DualRise Studio ("we," "our," or "us") operates the AURA Sleep: Binaural Beats mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. AURA is designed with a privacy-first architecture: all audio sessions, usage patterns, and personal preferences are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or third parties.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

AURA is built on the principle of data minimization. We do not collect:

• Personal Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Health Information: Sleep patterns, heart rate, medical conditions, or wellness data
• Audio Data: Recordings of your environment or microphone input
• Usage Analytics: Session duration, frequency, or listening preferences
• Device Identifiers: IP address, device ID, advertising identifiers
• Location Data: GPS, geolocation, or regional information
• Third-Party Data: Information from social media, health apps, or other services

3. Information Stored Locally

The following data is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure UserDefaults and CoreData:

• App preferences (volume levels, timer settings, favorite presets)
• Custom combinations you create
• Recently played presets (local history only)
• Onboarding completion status

This data is never synced to iCloud, never backed up to our servers, and never shared with any third party. Deleting the App removes all data permanently.

4. Audio Processing

AURA generates all audio locally using Apple's AVAudioEngine. No audio is streamed from the internet, recorded, or transmitted. The binaural beats are mathematically generated in real-time on your device.

Microphone Access: AURA does not request or use microphone access. The microphone permission declared in Info.plist is a standard iOS requirement for audio apps and is not utilized.

5. No Third-Party SDKs

AURA does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, including but not limited to:

• Google Analytics / Firebase
• Facebook SDK / Meta Pixel
• Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar analytics
• AdMob, Unity Ads, or any advertising networks
• Crashlytics or third-party crash reporting

6. Children's Privacy

AURA is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@dualrise.store.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the following rights:

• Right to Access: Since we store no personal data, there is nothing to access
• Right to Deletion: Delete the App to remove all local data permanently
• Right to Portability: Export your custom combinations via iOS Share Sheet
• Right to Object: Disable any optional features in Settings

8. Data Security

Although we collect no personal data, we implement the following security measures:

• All local data is protected by iOS sandboxing and file system encryption
• No network connections are required for core functionality
• App Transport Security (ATS) is enforced for any optional network features

AURA does not transfer any data internationally. All processing occurs locally on your device. DualRise Studio is based in the United States.
